Turkey Feather

In July 1794, in Western Pennsylvania, USA, 500 armed men, mainly still-owning farmers, staged the infamous Whiskey Rebellion against the new liquor tax.

Ingredients

• 2 measures of bourbon
• 1/2 measure of Drambuie
• 1/4 measure of Amaretto di Saronno

Instructions

Stir and strain into glass three-quarters filled with broken ice. Add slice of orange.

Alcohol Content: 2.7 units

Glass Type: Tumbler, Old-Fashioned or Rocks Glass

Variations:

• Barbera: Reduce the measures of bourbon to 2 and add 1 teaspoon of triple sec.
  Alcohol Content: 1.8 units
