Rose Cocktail
Napoleon 1 is said to have invented the cocktail. His favourite 'pick-meup' was called a 'Rose' . W M. Thackeray, The Newcomers, 1855. This version emerged from the Chatham Bar, Paris, in the 1920s.
Ingredients
- 2 measures of Dry Vermouth
- 1/2 measure of Kirsch
- 1/2 measure of Grenadine
Instructions
Shake and strain.
