Created around 1920 at the Vista Alegre Bar, Havana, Cuba, for President General Mario Menocal.

Ingredients

• 2 measures of white rum
• 1 measure of Rosso Vermouth
• 1/3 measure of Dry Vermouth
• 1 teaspoon of Grenadine

Instructions

Stir and strain into glass filled with crushed ice. Originally served straight up.

Garnish: slice of orange and a cherry.

Alcohol Content: 2.7 units
