Presidente Seco (Dry)
Created around 1930 by Eddie Woelke from Paris at the Jockey Club, Havana, Cuba, for President General Gerardo Machado.
Ingredients
- 2 measures of golden rum
- 1 measure of Dry Vermouth
- 1 teaspoon of Grenadine
Instructions
Stir and strain into frosted glass, add orange twist. If a teaspoon of each of triple sec and lemon juice are added, this is an El Presidente -- a 1940s recipe.
