Hemingway Special

Created by 'Constante' at La Floridita and named after his regular customer and Daiquiri enthusiast Ernest Hemingway. It is a form of Daiquiri but wholly unsweetened.

Ingredients

• 2 measures of white rum
• 1/4 measure of Maraschino
• juice of 1/2 a lime
• 1 measure of grapefruit juice

Instructions

Squeeze lime juice into shaker, add remaining ingredients and shake briefly with a glassful of crushed ice. Serve in frosted glass. If sweetened with 2/3 measure of sugar syrup, this is a Florida Daiquiri also created at La Floridita.
