Haymaker

The word whiskey comes from the Latin aquae vitae meaning 'water of life'. Scottish and Canadian producers spell it whiskey, American and Irish, whiskey. There is an exception. The founder of the Maker's Mark bourbon distillery, Mr Samuels, drop ofped the 'e' from his label, partly in deference to his Scottish ancestry.
