Bobby Burns

Named after Robert Burns (1759-96), the Scottish poet and song writer, best known for 'Auld Lang Syne'.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 measures of scotch
  • 1 1/2 measures of Rosso Vermouth
  • 1 teaspoon of Benedictine

Instructions

Add to glass three-quarters filled with broken ice, add twist of lemon. If a dash of Angostura and a teaspoon of sugar syrup are substituted for the Benedictine, this becomes a Flying Scotsman. If a teaspoon of sugar syrup is substituted for the Benedictine, this becomes a Harry Lauder.
