Mandarin
Benedictine is believed to be the oldest liqueur in the world. It was first distilled by an Italian Benedictine monk around 1510 at Frecamp, Normandy. In 1863 a French merchant discovered the old recipe and started commercial production.
Ingredients
- 1/2 measure of Benedictine
- 1/3 measures of Galliano
- 2/3 measure of apricot brandy
- 2/3 measure of triple sec
- 1 teaspoon of Mandarine Napoleon
- 1 measure of double cream
- 1 measure of orange juice
Instructions
Blend briefly with three-quarters of a glassful of crushed ice.
Garnish: slice of orange speared with a cherry.
