Sangria
There are many versions of Sangria; in Spain they often contain a measure or two of the local liqueur. Here is a basic recipe with which to experiment.
Ingredients
Servings: 12
- 75 cl medium red Spanish wine
- 4 measures of Spanish brandy
- 20 cl soda water (or lemonade)
- juice of 1 orange and 1 lemon
- sliced whole orange, lemon and lime
Instructions
1 tablespoon caster sugar (or to taste) Combine ingredients in jug half filled with ice, dissolve sugar and add soda. Serve immediately.
