Zombie
Created in 1934 by Donn Beach at Don the Beachcomber Restaurant, Hollywood. This was America's first South Sea Island themed restaurant, and Donn's exciting rum creations with exotic food to match were a great success, resulting in a chain of Beachcomber restaurants. Donn was the originator of 63 exotic cocktail recipes, still popular to this day. Barlore has it that he produced this cocktail for a guest suffering with a hangover, who reported feeling like a zombie.
