Spritzer

A popular low-alcohol drink. The name appears to come from the German 'spritz', to squirt, a reference to the soda water.

Ingredients

• 3 measures of cold dry white wine
• 4 measures of soda water

Instructions

Add to ice-filled glass. Garnish; half slice of lemon.

Alcohol Content: 0.9 units

Glass Type: Collins Glass

Variations:

• Spritzer de Fraise: Add red wine in place of white wine and add 1/2 measure of strawberry liqueur.
  Alcohol Content: 1.2 units
