Northside Special

1930s speciality of the Myrtle Bank Hotel, Kingston, Jamaica.

Ingredients

• 2 measures of dark rum (preferably Jamaican)
• 3 measures of orange juice
• 1/2 measure of lemon juice
• 2 level teaspoons of caster sugar
• 2 measures of soda water

Instructions

Add all but soda to glass, dissolve sugar and fill with crushed ice. Add soda and straws.

Garnish: cherry and slices of lemon and orange.
