Melanie Pimm

James Pimm created his No.1 Cup around 1840. Soon Pimm's had to be bottled to fill the demand at home and abroad. His secret recipe has remained unchanged to this day, and is known to only six people. Pimm's is not usually regarded as an aperitif, more of a summer afternoon mixer base. In a cocktail it gives a more fruity flavour than is offered by Vermouth.
