Marryat's Mint Julep

Also known as Georgia Mint Julep.

Ingredients

• 1 1/2 measures of brandy or cognac
• 1 1/2 measures of peach brandy
• 12 small sprigs of mint
• 3/4 measure of sugar syrup (originally sugar)

Instructions

Add to glass and fill with crushed ice. Mix gently so as not to crush mint. Rub rim with piece of fresh pineapple and serve.
