Hong Kong Fizz

Created in the nineteenth century by one Maude Jones, Madame of a Hong Kong brothel. She is said to have consumed several of these every day before lunch.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 measure of vodka
  • 1/2 measure of gin
  • 1/2 measure of Benedictine
  • 1/2 measure of Yellow Chartreuse
  • 1/2 measure of Green Chartreuse
  • 1/2 measure of lemon juice
  • 4 measures of soda water
  • 1/2 teaspoon of caster sugar

Instructions

Dissolve sugar, shake and strain into glass half filled with ice, add the soda, straws and a muddler.

Alcohol Content: 2.8 units
