Harvey Wallbanger

In the 1970s the following tale was widely circulated. A Californian surfer called 'Harvey' (surname unknown) decided he would prefer his usual Screwdriver with a little Galliano. After several of these, he was seen to bump into furniture and a wall. 'The Wallbanger' became his nickname, and passed to his favourite drink.

Ingredients

• 2 measures of vodka
• 3/4 measure of Galliano
• 5 measures of orange juice

Instructions

Add to ice-filled glass, sprinkle the Galliano on top.

Garnish: slice of orange.

Alcohol Content: 2.6 units

Glass Type: Highball Glass

Variations:

• Freddy Fudpucker or Cactus Banger: Add gold tequila in place of vodka.
• Cuban Banger: Add white rum in place of vodka.
