Gin Swizzle

Ingredients

• 2 1/2 measures of gin
• 2 measures of soda water
• 1 1/2 measures of lime juice
• 3/4 measure of sugar syrup
• 1 dash of Angostura

Instructions

Shake all but soda and strain into frosted glass filled with crushed ice. Swizzle briefly to frost the glass, add the soda. Add swizzle stick and straws.

Alcohol Content: 2.5 units

Glass Type: Collins Glass

Replace the gin in the following swizzles:

• Blue Swizzle: 2 1/2 measures of white rum and 1/1 measure of Blue Curacao
  Alcohol Content: 2.7 units
• Bourbon Swizzle: 2 1/2 measures of bourbon
  Alcohol Content: 2.5 units
• Brandy Swizzle: 2 1/2 measures of brandy
  Alcohol Content: 2.5 units
• Green Swizzle: 2 1/2 measures of white rum and 1/3 measure of green Creme de Menthe
  Alcohol Content: 2.7 units
• Red Swizzle: 2 1/2 measures of white rum and 1/3 measure of Grenadine
  Alcohol Content: 2.5 units
• Rum Swizzle: 1 1/2 measures of dark rum and 1 measure of white rum
  Alcohol Content: 2.5 units
• Tartan Swizzle: 2 1/2 measures of scotch
  Alcohol Content: 2.5 units

Whilst the above are the most common versions, any spirit can be used in a Swizzle, such as gin, tequila or vodka.
