Zaleucus, 'lawgiver' to the Locrians in about 650 BC, ordered that wine could only be consumed if mixed with water. Failure to comply was punishable by death.

Ingredients

  • 1 measure of white rum
  • 1/2 measure of Campari
  • 1/2 measure of Galliano
  • 5 measures of mandarin juice

Instructions

Add rum and juice to glass filled with broken ice, sprinkle Campari and Galliano on top - do not stir.

Garnish: cherry and orange slice, add straws.
