Brandy Sangaree
Ingredients
- 2 1/2 measures of brandy
- 1/2 measure of sugar syrup
- 2 1/2 measures of soda water
- 1/2 measure of LBV port
Instructions
Add to glass filled with broken ice, sprinkle the port on top. Dust with nutmeg and add straws.
Alcohol Content: 2.8 units
Glass Type: Highball Glass
Replace the brandy to make the following Sangarees:
- Bourbon Sangaree: 2 1/2 measures of bourbon
- Gin Sangaree: 2 1/2 measures of gin
- Scotch Sangaree: 2 1/2 measures of scotch
- Sherry Sangaree: 2 1/2 measures of sweet sherry
- Fruit Sangarees such as peach, apricot or cherry can also be made by using a fruit brandy in place of the spirit and omitting the sugar syrup.
Alcohol Content: 1.5 units
