Mimosa

Created around 1925 at the Ritz Hotel Bar, Paris. It took its name from the mimosa flowering plant, whose colour it resembles.

Ingredients

• 3 measures of champagne
• 3 measures of orange juice

Instructions

Add to glass with twist of orange.

Alcohol Content: 1.0 units

Glass Type: Wine Glass

Variations:

• Grand Mimosa: Add 1/2 measure of Grand Marnier.
  Alcohol Content: 1.5 units
• Limosa: Add 1 measure of lime juice cordial in place of the orange juice.
• Lemon Mimosa: Add 1 measure of lemon juice and 1/2 measure of sugar syrup in place of the orange juice.
