Gibson Martini

Created at The Players' Club, New York, for Mr Charles Gibson, an illustrator. It is believed he asked a barman for a cocktail onion to be used in place of the olive in his Dry Martini. This simple act sparked a craze for this cocktail which spread world-wide.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 measures of gin
  • 1/2 measure of Dry Vermouth

Instructions

Stir and strain into frosted glass, add small pearl onion.
