Dry Martini Cocktail (4:1)

A drink of very subtle flavour. President ED. Roosevelt (1882-1945) made one of these in front of the television cameras to celebrate the end of Prohibition.

Ingredients

• 3 measures of gin
• 3/4 measure of Dry Vermouth
• 1 teaspoon of orange bitters

Instructions

Stir and strain into frosted glass. Add either twist of lemon or green olive.

Alcohol Content: 3.4 units

Glass Type: Cocktail Glass

Variations:

• Hot Martini: Add a green olive and a Jalepino pepper.
• Buckeye Martini: Add a black olive.
• Extra Dry Martini (8:1): Add only half the Vermouth of a Dry Martini.
